What is an Oligodendroglioma?

An Oligodendroglioma is a rare primary brain tumor that originates from oligodendrocytes, specialized glial cells that support and insulate nerve fibers in the central nervous system. These tumors account for a small percentage of all brain tumors and are most commonly diagnosed in adults between the ages of 30 and 50.

Common symptoms include seizures, persistent headaches, and neurological difficulties such as problems with movement, speech, or memory, depending on the tumor's location.
