At Medicover Hospitals, we aim to ensure transparency and customer satisfaction for all our patients and service users. This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all online payments made through our official website, mobile applications, or authorized payment links for hospital services, health checkups, consultations, and other healthcare offerings.
Cancellation Policy
- Patients may cancel or reschedule an appointment, health checkup, or service booking up to 7 days before the scheduled date of service.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled service may attract a cancellation fee or be non-refundable, depending on the type of service booked and the expenses already incurred.
- Cancellations due to medical emergencies or unavoidable circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by our billing and management team.
- For online consultations or telemedicine services, cancellations are allowed before the consultation begins. Once the session has started, no cancellation or refund is permitted.
Refund Policy
- If a transaction is charged to your account but the service is not provided due to technical errors or hospital-related issues, the full amount will be refunded within 7ā15 working days through the original mode of payment.
- Refunds will be made only for payments received through our authorized payment channels.
- No cash refunds will be issued for payments made online.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after internal verification and approval by our finance department.
- For services availed through packages or promotional offers, refunds may be restricted or prorated as per specific package terms.
No Refund Scenarios
Refunds are not applicable under the following circumstances:
- The patient fails to appear for the scheduled appointment or service.
- The service or consultation has already been availed.
- Cancellation request is received after the service delivery.
- For vaccination and pharmacy services, once payment is made, the amount is non-refundable.
Mode and Timeline of Refunds
- All approved refunds will be processed through the same mode of payment used during booking.
- Processing time: 7 to 15 working days (depending on the payment gateway and bank processing time).
- Medicover Hospitals shall not be responsible for delays beyond our control, such as those caused by banking procedures.
