Dr Rajiv M holds MBBS, MD in General Medicine and DNB in Nephrology, reflecting training across internal medicine and super specialty kidney care. His academic background supports to the evidence based management of both routine and complex renal conditions.

His expertise covers comprehensive nephrology care including chronic kidney disease (all stages), acute kidney injury, diabetic and hypertensive kidney disease and glomerular disorders such as IgA nephropathy, FSGS, lupus nephritis and vasculitis. He also manages renal tubular and electrolyte disorders with precision.

Dr Rajiv M is highly experienced in advanced dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, high-flux dialysis, SLED, CRRT, peritoneal dialysis and plasmapheresis along with dialysis quality assurance, water standards and protocol design.

In renal transplant medicine he provides an a care covering pre-transplant evaluation, live and cadaveric kidney transplantation, post-transplant immunosuppression, and management of rejection, infections and allograft dysfunction.

His practice also includes interventional nephrology such as ultrasound-guided renal biopsies, dialysis catheter insertions, PD catheter placement and renal Doppler access surveillance, as well as critical care nephrology for ICU patients with sepsis, shock, ARDS and multi-organ failure.

Dr Rajiv M plays an active role in clinical leadership and academics, contributing to NABH accreditation processes, dialysis program development, healthcare professional training and national and international publications. He is available for consultation Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at Medicover Hospitals, Secunderabad.
