Hyderabad, 4th November, 2022: Medicover Hospitals is organising a workshop on Airway Management in collaboration with Indian Society Of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) at Blue Planet Auditorium, Medicover Hospitals, Hitech city on 4th November, 2022.
The program will start at 9:00am with the participation of many renowned doctors to discuss various
aspects about airway management. The workshop schedule will begin with introduction, courseview,
assessment of airway/anatomical landworks, airway guidelines and proceed with diagnostic procedures to
detect airway obstruction such as ultrasound, CT and MRI scan, role of CXR and virtual endoscopy. The
doctors will discuss different medical devices available to approach difficult airway such as
supraglottic airway devices, emergency cricothyroidotomy, video laryngoscopy, percutaneous tracheostomy
on mannequin along with case presentations.
Airway management is using medical devices and a series of procedures to remove airway obstruction and
to maintain or restore an individual’s ventilation, or breathing. It is an important part of emergency
medicine that needs thorough skill and training to handle critical situations.
The Program is being organised by the department of critical care under the guidance of Dr Ganshyam Jagathkar
