Emergency Stroke Helpline Medicover Bangalore

During the event, ACP Reena Suvarna shared an important message:
"Do not ignore even minor health issues. Small symptoms can sometimes lead to major complications. Stay aware and seek timely medical care."

Why We Started This Helpline?

Stroke is a time-sensitive medical emergency. Early recognition and quick hospital access can save brain function and life.

Our Stroke Helpline has been created to provide immediate medical guidance during stroke emergencies. Unlike general inquiry numbers, this helpline is directly managed by senior doctors, ensuring quick clinical response and faster emergency care for people in Bengaluru. This is not a call centre line.

Mr Krishnamurthy, Unit Head, Medicover Hospitals, Bangalore, explained:

“Patients or family members can directly speak to our doctors through this number. This helps them reach the hospital quickly for immediate treatment.”

Medical Team Participation

Our Neurosurgery, Neurology, Emergency, and ICU leadership at Medicover Hospitals Bangalore attended the event, including:

  • Dr Samaripta, Associate Vice President - Medical Administration & Quality
  • Dr Deepak & Dr Ganesh Murthy, Neurosurgeons
  • Dr Surabhi & Dr Rashmi, Neurologists
  • Dr Kushal, Head of Emergency Care
  • Dr Nitya Achayya, Head of ICU

Our Goal

Every minute is important in stroke care. The goal of this helpline is to support faster stroke identification, emergency coordination, and timely treatment.

We aim to:

  • Improve stroke awareness
  • Ensure faster medical response
  • Reduce treatment delays
  • Support better survival and recovery outcomes

This helpline is our step toward helping our community receive timely and expert support when it is most needed.
