What is Altraday?
Aceclofenac and Rabeprazole are two medications used in Altraday Capsule. They belong to a class of painkillers that are used to suppress stomach acid, respectively. It is used to treat swelling, discomfort, and inflammation of the bones, joints, and muscles as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic. Altraday capsules function by combining the effects of their two elements. Aceclofenac blocks the activity of some chemicals in the body that cause inflammation, swelling, and pain. Rabeprazole, a component of the drug, tends to minimise the gastric acid content caused by aceclofenac, lowering the risk of ulcers, heartburn, and acidity associated with painkillers.
Altraday Uses
Altraday Capsule SR is a mixture of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and proton pump inhibitors used to treat painful rheumatic conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. Altraday Capsule SR works by inhibiting cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes, which helps in curing injury or damage sites, causing pain, swelling, and inflammation. It decreases inflammation and relieves pain.
Altraday Side Effects

- Flatulence

Precautions

How to take Altraday?

Altraday Capsule SR is a pain reliever that combines two medications: Aceclofenac and Rabeprazole. Aceclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by blocking the release of chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Rabeprazole is a proton-pump inhibitor that prevents Aceclofenac from damaging the stomach lining.
Missed Dose
If a patient lacks a dose of Altraday Capsule, it is recommended that they take it as soon as possible. If it's time for the second dose then don't double it because it could cause severe side effects.
Overdose
It is not recommended to take more medications than the doctor has prescribed because this could result in severe health problems. When a patient has an allergy or a reaction, he or she should see a doctor as soon as possible.
Warnings for some serious Health Conditions
Kidney
In patients with kidney disease, Altraday Capsule SR should be used with caution. Altraday Capsule SR dosage can need to be adjusted. Patients with serious kidney disease should avoid taking Altraday Capsule SR.
Liver
In patients with liver disease, Altraday Capsule SR should be used with caution. Altraday Capsule SR dosage can need to be adjusted. Patients with serious liver disease should avoid taking Altraday Capsule SR. If the patient is taking this medication, liver function tests should be monitored on a regular basis.
Pregnant
It's possible that taking Altraday Capsule SR while pregnant is dangerous. Animal tests have shown adverse effects on the developing infant, despite the lack of human studies. Before prescribing it to you, the doctor can consider the advantages as well as any possible risks.
Breastfeeding
Altraday can pass into breast milk and cause some serious side effects to the infant. Avoid using the medicine while you are breastfeeding.
Storage
Direct contact with heat, air and light may damage your medicines. Exposure to medicine may cause some harmful effects. The medicine must be kept in a safe place and out of children’s reach. Mainly the drug should be kept at room temperature between 68ºF and 77ºF (20ºC and 25ºC).
