Dr. Ganshyam Jagathkar is a Director of Critical Care at Medicover Hospitals, Hitech city. He is a nationally acclaimed intensive care specialist with over 18 years of experience in this speciality. He was one of the first fully trained and qualified intensive care specialists from the twin Telugu states who played a major role in establishing Critical Care as an independent speciality in this part of the world. He has advanced training in treating patients with severe organ failure and requiring life supports like mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic support, renal support, etc. He is well trained in ECMO and other extracorporeal therapies in the management of critically ill patients. He is the founding Organizing Secretary of the popular Hyderabad Intensive Symposium. He is a regular organizer of various conferences and workshops and has played a great role in training and guiding many young intensive care specialists. He is a reputed teacher for DNB and ISCCM Critical Care Fellowship programs.
