Dr. RaghuKanth Arra is a Senior Consultant in Pulmonology, Interventional Pulmonology, Sleep Medicine, and Critical Care with over 15 years of extensive clinical experience in advanced respiratory medicine, minimally invasive pulmonary procedures, and intensive care management. He is currently associated with Medicover Hospitals, Hitech City, where he plays a key role in the management of complex pulmonary disorders, sleep-related breathing disorders, and high-risk critical care patients.

He received his core training in Interventional Pulmonology under the guidance of one of the senior-most interventional pulmonologists in the twin cities, Dr. Jaya Chandra, which laid a strong foundation for his expertise in advanced bronchoscopic and pleural procedures. He further underwent advanced international fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonology at globally reputed high-volume centers, including specialized training in Marseille, France, and Guangzhou, China, one of the world's most advanced centers for interventional pulmonary procedures.

He has also completed specialized training in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, and holds certification in Sleep Medicine, with special clinical interest in sleep apnea, snoring disorders, and comprehensive sleep disorder management.

Dr. RaghuKanth Arra has extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex lung diseases including Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD), severe asthma, COPD, drug-resistant tuberculosis, pleural diseases, lung infections, and respiratory failure requiring intensive care support. He is highly experienced in advanced bronchoscopic and thoracoscopic procedures and is known for his precision-based, evidence-driven, and patient-centered clinical approach.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. RaghuKanth Arra played a dedicated and active role in the frontline management of critically ill COVID patients, providing continuous ICU care, ventilator support, and advanced respiratory management during the most challenging phases of the pandemic. In recognition of his commitment, service, and dedication to patient care during the COVID era, he was honored with the Abdul Kalam Award for medical service excellence.
