He completed his pediatric training at Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute and later pursued specialized neonatology training at Manipal Hospitals under the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP). He further advanced his clinical training in the United Kingdom at Homerton University Hospital, London, where he completed core neonatal training under the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH).

Dr. Diggikar has significant experience in treating extreme prematurity (from 23 weeks gestation), neonatal infections, jaundice, sick infants, ventilation support, neonatal surgical care, persistent pulmonary hypertension (PPHN), neonatal encephalopathy, and sepsis.
