Dr. Rakesh U. N. holds an MBBS and an MS in Orthopedics along with MRCS (Edinburgh) Part A (2024) reflecting strong training and international surgical exposure. His evidence based treatment orthopedic care aligned with global standards .

His expertise includes joint replacement surgery covering primary complex and revision arthroplasty. He is trained in MAKO robotic assisted arthroplasty which enhances surgical precision, implant alignment and post-operative recovery.

He performs minimally invasive hip replacement procedures using posterior, modified Hardinge, and direct anterior approaches selected based on patient anatomy and functional needs. His practice also includes unicondylar knee replacement for select patients with localized knee arthritis.

Dr. Rakesh has advanced skills in arthroscopic procedures, including ACL and PCL reconstruction, meniscus repair, MPFL reconstruction, and shoulder stabilization surgeries such as Bankart repair, remplissage, and the Latarjet procedure. These minimally invasive techniques support faster recovery and return to activity.

Additional interests include sports injury management, multi-ligament knee injuries, trauma and soft tissue orthopedic procedures, and pediatric orthopedics. He is also actively involved in orthopedic research and academic training contributing to continuous improvement in patient care.
