She also performs 18F FDG PET-CT for non-oncological indications, including dementia evaluation, PUO (pyrexia of unknown origin), infection assessment, cardiac sarcoidosis, implant and prosthetic infections and myocardial viability studies.

Dr. Mandarapu has experience in advanced molecular imaging such as 68 Gallium DOTA scans for neuroendocrine tumors and 68 Gallium PSMA scans for prostate cancer detection and metastatic evaluation. Her expertise also includes 18F DOPA scans used in the evaluation of Parkinson’s disease and related movement disorders.

In addition to diagnostics she known for therapeutic nuclear medicine, including radioiodine therapy and Lutetium-177-based targeted radionuclide therapy, offering precision treatment options for select cancers.
