Dr. Hemanth Chinthala is a highly experienced Consultant Medical Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist and Interventional Endoscopist based at Medicover Hospital, Financial District, Hyderabad, with over 12+ years of expertise in diagnosing and treating complex digestive and liver disorders. He is known for combining advanced medical knowledge with a compassionate, patient-first approach to care.

He completed his MBBS from Osmania Medical College followed by MD in Internal Medicine from PGIMER, one of India's premier institutes, and pursued super-specialty training with a DM in Medical Gastroenterology from CMC Vellore. He also served as an Assistant Professor at CMC Vellore for two years, contributing to clinical care and academic training. Additionally, Dr. Hemanth holds the ESEGH (UK) qualification and has undergone an international observership at Royal Melbourne Hospital, Australia, further strengthening his expertise in advanced gastroenterology practices.

Dr. Hemanth Chinthala specializes in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, including upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, image-enhanced endoscopy, and GI bleed management. His clinical focus includes hepatology conditions such as alcoholic liver disease, viral hepatitis, cirrhosis and its complications, acute and chronic liver failure (ALF/ACLF), as well as pancreatic disorders like acute and chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic lesions.

He has extensive experience in managing inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis), functional bowel disorders (IBS), bile duct stones, biliary strictures, obstructive jaundice, and gastrointestinal cancers. Dr. Hemanth is also skilled in intestinal ultrasound (IUS) for IBD and small bowel assessment, along with capsule endoscopy and balloon enteroscopy for comprehensive small bowel evaluation. His expertise further includes manometry and pH studies, anemia evaluation, and nutrition-related gastrointestinal disorders.
