The Neonatal Transport Service provided by Medicover Woman and Child is a quick response service for babies in need of specialized critical care services equivalent to a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Newborns are carried safely in our ambulance, which is fully equipped with an intensive-care environment.
A team of rapid response medical specialists operates the ambulance, ensuring that premature infants are transported to Medicover Woman and Child. When the infants arrive, they are transferred to the NICU, where they get the best medical care available.
The Neonatal Transport Service is offered seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Each transport unit includes the following:
